I’ll do it · Version 2026-10-09.1
Terms & Conditions
09 Oct 2026
1. Who may use the service
I’ll do it connects adults who need lawful work with adults offering services. You must be at least 18, have capacity to contract and provide accurate identity, contact and account information. No account may be created for or operated by a child. Do not impersonate anyone or share account access. You are responsible for account security and must report suspected misuse promptly. Provider approval is a platform access check, not a guarantee of identity, competence, insurance or safety.
2. The platform and the parties
The buyer and seller contract directly with each other. I’ll do it provides listing, negotiation, record and communication tools; it does not itself perform the listed work, employ the seller, provide insurance, hold client money or guarantee payment. These labels do not override any employment, agency or consumer relationship that exists in law. No platform commission or payment processing is imposed by this version; any future charge must be disclosed and agreed before it applies.
3. Prohibited work and content
Illegal goods, transactions and services are prohibited and are not tolerated. This is a services marketplace, not a channel for selling controlled goods. Do not list or request drugs, unlawful weapons, stolen or counterfeit items, fraud, money laundering, tax evasion, hacking, stalking, surveillance without lawful authority, harassment, discrimination, trafficking, exploitation, sexual services or any activity involving sexual abuse of a child. Do not request dangerous, deceptive or unlicensed regulated work; academic cheating; forged documents; unauthorised access to property; or unlawful waste disposal. Do not publish private personal data, malicious files or content you have no right to use. Work requiring licences, registration, qualifications, permits, safeguarding or insurance may be offered only by someone who holds all applicable requirements. No person under 18 may buy or sell through the platform.
4. Listings, prices and seller information
Buyers must state the scope, access constraints, hazards, timing and a genuine budget. Keep addresses and contact details in the private fields. Sellers must honestly disclose whether they act as a trader, their legal/business identity, relevant qualifications and any material limits. Prices must include applicable taxes and unavoidable charges. Hourly prices are rates, not unlimited authority to incur costs: the parties must agree hours, materials and any spending limit in writing before work begins. Extras and changes require both parties’ agreement. A promoted label means the administrator has given a listing additional prominence; default results prioritise promoted listings and then recency, subject to search and distance filters.
5. Offers and agreement formation
Offer help proposes the advertised price; Propose your price proposes a different amount. Either party can counter. A price acceptance prepares a draft and does not by itself complete the platform’s signing process. Each party must review the same recorded scope, price and terms, confirm intent and re-enter their own account password. The agreement becomes confirmed in this system only after both parties sign the same version. A changed proposal requires a new draft and new confirmations. Passwords are not written into contracts. Electronic confirmations are evidence of account activity; they are not qualified electronic signatures or independent identity certification. Earlier accepted jobs are not retrospectively signed or attributed to users.
6. Delivery, payment and taxes
Sellers must perform agreed lawful work with reasonable care and skill, follow safety rules, protect property and obtain necessary permissions. Buyers must provide safe, lawful access and pay the agreed amount when the agreed work is completed, unless the contract records another lawful arrangement. Use a traceable payment method and obtain a receipt. Each party is responsible for its own tax registration, returns, VAT where applicable, social contributions and employment obligations. Platform activity does not remove those responsibilities. The operator may also have independent reporting duties, including applicable DAC7 duties, and may request information and report it where legally required.
7. Consumer rights and cancellation
Mandatory consumer rights are preserved. Where the seller acts as a trader and the buyer as a consumer, Irish/EU consumer rules may apply, including conformity, remedies and generally a 14-day cancellation period for distance service contracts, subject to statutory exceptions. Private-to-private transactions do not carry the same statutory consumer protections. A trader must give required pre-contract information and cancellation instructions. Unless separately requested and recorded by the consumer, the seller must not start within a statutory cooling-off period. Any early-start request, proportionate payment liability and acknowledgement of loss of cancellation rights after full performance must satisfy the law; a generic acceptance checkbox does not waive those rights. To cancel, send the seller a clear statement identifying the job, your name and the date. A model statement is: “I give notice that I cancel the service contract for [job code], agreed on [date]. Name: [name]. Address: [address]. Date: [date].” Contact the operator for help locating the seller. Statutory refunds and remedies are not limited by these terms.
8. Disputes, changes and termination
Raise problems promptly with the other party and retain evidence. Allow a reasonable opportunity to resolve defects where the law requires it. Do not threaten, retaliate or post false reviews. Platform listing pause, cancellation or account restriction does not automatically cancel an already signed service contract or remove accrued payment, refund or statutory obligations. Agree contract changes in writing; the saved original remains part of the audit history. Complaints can be escalated to the operator and, where relevant, the CCPC, Data Protection Commission, courts or other competent authorities. This service is not an emergency response channel.
9. Moderation and reporting
New jobs require approval before publication. The operator may refuse, remove, pause or restrict unlawful, unsafe, misleading or abusive content and may preserve relevant evidence and cooperate with competent authorities where lawfully required. Report a listing using the operator’s contact below, including the job code, reason, supporting facts and your contact details. Accounts suspected of being underage may be restricted while age eligibility is assessed proportionately. Where appropriate, the operator will explain a decision and consider an appeal sent to the same contact. Good-faith reports must not be abused.
10. Content, privacy and records
You keep rights in your original content and grant the operator only the licence needed to host, display, moderate and maintain the service and its records. Do not upload another person’s data without authority. Public profiles show public jobs and ratings; full offers are visible only to authorised participants, the account owner and admin. Contract and contact information may be used only for the agreed work, lawful record keeping, disputes and legal obligations; no unsolicited marketing, resale or unrelated use is permitted. The Privacy Notice explains processing and retention. Download and retain your signed PDF for your own records.
11. Liability and service availability
Each party remains responsible for its own acts, omissions and legal duties. The operator does not warrant uninterrupted availability or the accuracy of user content and will take reasonable care in providing its own service. Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including fraud, applicable statutory consumer rights or liability for the operator’s own breach where the law prevents exclusion. No blanket waiver of negligence or statutory remedies is imposed. Losses caused by a user’s unlawful conduct may be recoverable to the extent permitted by law; these terms do not create an unlimited indemnity.
12. Changes and governing law
These terms apply from the version date shown. Material future changes must be notified before they take effect; a signed service agreement retains its recorded terms. Irish law governs to the extent permitted, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections or courts available in their place of residence. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions apply so far as lawful. A failure to enforce a term is not a waiver.
